YOUR TASK

YOUR GROUP

We will be reading the novel, The Joy Luck Club by Amy Tan. Before we read the book I want you to become familiar with the setting and the Chinese culture. You will go on an Internet journey in order to expand your horizons and learn more about Amy Tan and her writing.

You will be assigned to a group. Each person will have a job and must perform certain tasks. Below are the jobs that you must choose from:

	Task Manager: You will be in charge of making sure all questions get done and all articles are read. You should also keep track of the time and make sure you will be able to finish everything by the end of class. Along with these duties, you should help your group with the reading and the questions.
	Scribe: Your job is to write down the answers to the questions. Along with this, you should help your group with the reading.
	Orator: Your job is to report your findings back to the class. Along with this, you need to help your group with the reading and the questions.

You will be working with your assigned group on this project. Each member of your group must have a job. The groups are as follows:
